Tacos Nayarit: Discover Authentic Mexican Flavor in Columbia, SC

Very cute place colorful and inviting. The staff was nice. The food was fresh and made when you ordered it. The price is about the same as anywhere else around the area. I got the birria and al pastor taco. You can give this place a try and choose what you want. Never hurts.

Absolutely loved Tacos Nayarit! The food was amazing and full of flavor, and the portion sizes were very generous, especially with the toppings. Every staff member was friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I also tried the mango drink and the horchata, and both were delicious and refreshing. I’m visiting from out of state, but I would 100% recommend this place and would definitely come back the next time.

The best Mexican food I've tasted yet. I had the Shrimp Barria Tacos. They were perfect. The music was fun, servers very friendly, and the place was clean and packed with excited customers. Highly suggest. We will be stopping here on our way to Charleston from northern NC. EVERY TIME.

Customer service was friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and “heavy helpings”. The nacho portions big enough for 2-3 people. The chicken quesadillas was shareable as well and them Birria tacos are a greedy girls dream! Great place for lunch with family. Indoor and outdoor sitting. Great for a first date or meet and great. Can’t wait to go again.

IF YOU HAVENT GONE YET GO I'm from California and I have deeply missed Mexican food that actually tastes like someone abuela taught them how to cook not a company made recipe that tastes bland. Tacos Nayarit and the Employees remind me of home. Everyone was so nice accommodating and easy to talk to. Though my Spanish was basura cause I haven't used it in 3 years they still were nice about it. We went at 4 on a Sunday. Our order shredded beef tacos with flour tortillas, all the way Shredded chicken burrito all the way Birriabox cin (without) cilantro SO MUFU GOOD I love the birriabox the most everything else couldn't compare THANK YOU for existing and being open 7 days a week?!

Today, I tried Taco Nayarit for the first time and I’ll admit, it won’t be my last. The food was amazing as well as the customer service, and the quality and quantity of the food. I had the Nachos with Shredded Beef and my friend had the Birria Tacos. Everything was seasoned very well. I would also like to add how clean the restaurant was, inside and out. If you’re looking for a cute and quaint Mexican restaurant with awesome food, give them a try!

DELICIOUS!! I come to Columbia about once a month and always make sure to come here. The service is quick and the restaurant is so cool- with indoor & outdoor seating. We ordered the carne asada tacos & carne asada quesadilla and couldn’t be happier with it. And bonus points for all the yummy sauces & white queso!! Can’t wait to go back.

The flavors felt fresh with every bite, truly juicy and satisfying. The team stayed kind despite the timing right after the lunch rush. The pricing felt fair for the level of quality offered.
